This year, I’ve been spending a lot more time outdoors gardening. I have 3 container pots and counting! (My next plant purchase will be citronella, to keep the mosquitoes at bay!)
So, of course, gardening decorations call my attention of late. Here’s a bronze turtle sculpture that I thought was rather nice:

Our turtles do the darndest things, right? Ever wonder why your turtle is flicking his webbed feet at another turtle or object? It’s a mating ritual! Check out this video to see a clear example of the behavior:

It’s summer, so most of us are definitely wearing breezy and comfortable dresses. (Guys, that’s directed at the gals, of course, unless you live in Hawaii and tend to wear grass skirts and other sorts of locations…)

Just saw a short, interesting video where this woman (girl?) shows how she trained her turtle to do stuff:
I wish I had seen this when my turtles were alive. I think I would have pulled them out of the tank more often!
